About Barnaby

Barnaby Hodgkins is an exceptional thirteen year old boy. Like all boys of his age he enjoys television, computer games, supporting his favourite football team, all sports (including cricket) but tennis is his passion. Since he picked up a tennis racquet just under four years ago Barnaby has dreamt of becoming a tennis player and walking out onto the centre court of one of the Grand Slam tournaments and winning.

Through his formative years at prep school it was apparent that Barnaby was a natural athlete. He represented his junior school at first team level from under 8 through to Colts at football, rugby, cricket and cross country. His first sports master (an ex-first class cricketer) commented that he was the most natural right arm bowler he had ever coached at junior school level.

Barnaby is a bright boy and was determined to follow his brother to Sevenoaks School, which he did in August 2006. His sporting talents were quickly picked up on and he has represented his school at football, rugby, cricket and cross country, collecting school sports colours in his first year of the junior school.
