You're ready to visualise

Being mindful that energy flows where attention goes.

Advice

Letting go of any limitations will enable you to make space for something better. Acting on well-informed choices today will shape your life tomorrow. When you become crystal clear about the impact that changes in your lifestyle will bring, the energy with which you gravitate towards your goal will be vastly increased. Today offers you a fresh start. If you do what you always do, you get what you always got!

Often, it is the small changes that have the biggest impact. Start small and build on your motivation to succeed. When you get clear about the benefits that making small, incremental changes bring to your life, and perhaps those closest to you, you increase the likelihood of making it happen.

Create a detailed mental picture of success. Your unconscious mind doesn't know the difference between what's real and what's imagined. So, one way to get the outcome that you want is to act as if you've already got it. When you use your senses to give your mind an experience with enough emotional intensity, it does not easily differentiate that from reality.

For example, what do you see? Who else is in the picture and what else do you notice around you? What are you hearing? What are others saying to you now that you have achieved your goal, and what encouraging words are you saying to yourself? What other sounds are you aware of? What are you feeling? What does the positivity of your success feel like and what emotions are you conscious of now?

Top tips

  • Set yourself small, bite-sized goals and feel great when you achieve (or over-achieve) them.
  • Take a moment to bring to mind a happy thought or experience. Something that makes you smile. See yourself surrounded by joy and lightness. Hear the giggles and the sound of your own and others' laughter, and feel the light-heartedness surging through you.
  • Spring clean your life. By simplifying your world, you make time and room for freshness and new experiences. De-clutter your home and other environments where you spend time; pay off as many old debts as you can; file away all those bits of paper that have stacked up; rid yourself of unwanted things and tie up any other loose ends.
