It's time to make the best choices in life

You create your life with each choice that you make.

Advice

Good health, a sense of well-being and a purpose for living makes any day beautiful. Research suggests that optimists live longer than pessimists, so keep up the glass-half-full type of thinking!

You are the sum total of the choices that you have made in your life so far. Ultimately, you are the driver of your own bus, and with that comes responsibility. True, it can feel quite scary being “responsible”, as the buck stops firmly at your feet and you can no longer find reasons (excuses!) to lay the blame elsewhere. The chances are that you are already experiencing empowerment. Enjoy making responsible choices and being accountable for your own life and its results.

Top tips

  • Children are often thought of as being great teachers for the grown-ups. Their playful state and innate sense of fun and spontaneity are to be admired. Continue to join in the fun by watching humorous films and reading amusing books and articles.
  • The art of being a human is simply to be, as opposed to a human doing! Think of yourself as a role model to others. By keeping your thoughts, actions, relationships and businesses simple, you will model simplicity, through which fulfillment is achieved.
  • Acknowledge the richness in all that you have in life already. In doing so, you are likely to attract more of the same. Ask yourself daily, “What can I give?” instead of “What can I receive?”
