Presenter - As well as choices about what we eat, we hear a lot about portion sizes and that we eat too much food. Do you think we're getting better now and making those portion sizes more sensible?

Azmina - I don't know if we're getting better. You just need to look at the confectionery stores and their king sizes and look at the burgers and the larger sizes, which are often very tempting because they're so cost effective, aren't they? I do worry about us following the USA in this, and bigger portions can often mean bigger bellies. We probably live in a culture where we've been told to finish what's on our plate, rightly or wrongly, so we've got into this habit and perhaps we need to reprogramme our minds a little bit - eating off a smaller plate might be an idea. Or if you buy a takeaway, rather than eating straight from the box, serve yourself and put the rest in the fridge for tomorrow. These are little habits that actually go a long way.
